Subject: Lopsided information on your web site
I enjoy reading some of the items you display on your web site.
The thing that bothers me is that you seem to ignore the horrible acts of violence that are targeted against innocent people by extremist.
You seem to have sources for unique information of all types. Your web sites indicates that you have taken the position that the American government is the source of all evil and the murderers that kill innocent people are heroes.
Please tell me I am wrong and that you have not thought much about the terrorists while you search for negative statements against the government.
I had to get that off my chest.

This email is rather insulting. Really. WHERE do you see that I've taken the position murderers are heroes?

Your statement presents a FALSE CHOICE. Since I take the position THIS REGIME is the source of all evil, you submit then that I take the position that the murderers that kill innocent people are heroes. Nonsense! BULL..... LONEY! While it WAS, in fact, the self-same terrorists that Reagan/Bush CREATED, FUNDED and ARMED who came back and bitch slapped us for our arrogant and errant foreign policy, I was as outraged as EVERY OTHER AMERICAN on September 11, 2001.

Since you seem to imply that if I dare criticize the Bush Crime Family that I somehow support the terrorists. That I don't want to see them caught and contained. I do. And just like EVERY OTHER AMERICAN I supported the action in Afghanistan to capture Osama Bin Laden and hopefully destroy al-Qaeda.

But even this simple operation, conducted by the pompous, presumptuous and inept bunglers from the American Enterprise Institute was botched. ON PURPOSE. For POLITICAL gain. This president and his masters SQUANDERED the world-wide good will we experienced after that event. These NEO-CON yahoos simply and cynically used that tragedy to further their political goals.
They withdrew resources from the nearly successful hunt for al-Qaeda lest they should win too fast and not have an excuse for

PERPETUAL WAR, starting with an unwarranted ACT OF AGGRESSION on Iraq, where post invasion planning by the few competent career diplomats remaining was DISPENSED with, to

PERPETUATE chaos and confusion, to better aid them in stealing BILLIONS of dollars;

creating PERMANENT bases in IRAQ to facilitate the stealing of their oil;

waging PERPETUAL WAR so they'd have an excuse for Patriot Act and an assault on Bill of Rights and civil liberties which always bothered them anyway;

waging PERPETUAL WAR so they could use fear to help steal the U.S. election;

waging PERPETUAL WAR so they'd could use fear whenever their lies were exposed in an effort to distract from the real issues.

waging PERPETUAL WAR so they'd could use fear to justify TORTURE! To MAKE THAT ACCEPTABLE. To REJECT Geneva conventions. IT'S INDEFENSIBLE!

These scoundrels aren't trying to fight terrorism. They NEED the terrorists. Their policies have plainly resulted in an increase of terrorist attacks, and in creating new terrorists daily, and despite this, they continue to mislead the country by saying otherwise

As of this week the PERPETUAL GLOBAL WAR ON TERRORISM's name will be officially changed to the eternal STRUGGLE AGAINST EXTREMISM. (Jihad means struggle, by the way.) Watch for administration officials to trip over their tongues as they switch terms, as Rumsfield did last night. "The Global war-STRUGGLE against extremism". They're cynical beyond redmemtion, but the war will never end. They use Orwell's novels as guides, not warnings.

Do you believe I SEARCH for negative statements against the government? I just SEE what's happening! I try to offer resources for people who are being so poorly served by the Corporate Controlled Television Infotainment Industry; resources for people who are being so poorly served by the derelict fourth estate. I'm trying to counterbalance the LOPSIDED information presented by the Republican propaganda Network and White House Press LAPDOGS.

You plead with me to tell you you're wrong. That I haven't thought much much about the terrorists. I in turn ask you to please tell me I'm wrong, that you don't really believe this regime has done ANYTHING to promote our national security. Please tell me you see how they cynically use fear and prejudice to further their ends. Please tell me you recognize how they'll viciously destroy bona fide heroes and important institutions who are DEFENDING our National Security, if these heroes and institutions stand in their way of their politacal desires? To an unprecedented and totally unacceptable TREASONOUS extreme? Please tell me you aren't horrified as they rip asunder everything that makes this nation great? Please.

It's a false choice you present. Yesterday U.S. District Judge John C. Coughenour Sentenced the Millennium Bomber to 22 Years. Here's what he said:

The message I would hope to convey in today's sentencing is two-fold: First, that we have the resolve in this country to deal with the subject of terrorism and people who engage in it
should be prepared to sacrifice a major portion of their life in confinement. Secondly, though, I would like to convey the message that our system works. We did not need to use a secret military tribunal, or detain the defendant indefinitely as an enemy combatant, or deny him the right to counsel, or invoke any proceedings beyond those guaranteed by or contrary to the United States Constitution.
I would suggest that the message to the world from today's sentencing is that our courts have not abandoned our commitment to the ideals that set our nation apart. We can deal with the
threats to our national security without denying the accused fundamental constitutional protections. Despite the fact that Mr. Ressam is not an American citizen and despite the fact that he entered this country intent upon killing American citizens, he received an effective, vigorous defense, and the opportunity to have his guilt or innocence determined by a jury of 12 ordinary citizens. Most importantly, all of this occurred in the sunlight of a public trial. There were no secret proceedings, no indefinite detention, no denial of counsel. The tragedy of September 11th shook our sense of security and made us realize that we, too, are vulnerable to acts of terrorism. Unfortunately, some believe that this threat renders our Constitution obsolete. This is a Constitution for which men and women have died and continue to die and which has made us a model among nations. If that view is allowed to prevail, the terrorists will have won. It is my sworn duty, and as long as there is breath in my body I'll perform it, to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

AMEN.
