Missing The Point

The elected Democratic "leadership" is unable to focus on the REAL dangers facing our republic:

• The (un)Patriot Act was passed,
• Torture of prisoners continues in Guantanamo, Abu Graib, and assorted camps throughout the former soviet republics where victims are "renditioned".
• The administration flaunts the law and constitutional protections with their domestic spying policy,
• The administration flaunts the law with its cronyistic dealings, the most recent is exemplified by the Dubia ports scandal,
• Alito was confirmed,
• there's still no plan or action to rebuild New Orleans and her citizens are cast around the country without hope of returning to their homes, the better to insure the big money developers their opportunity to remake the city,
• our nation continues to plummet headlong into the abyss of Fascism...
